‘Outstanding’ Mayfield directs the Rams to a resounding victory.
INGLEWOOD, California – When asked if Baker Mayfield has met or exceeded his expectations since joining the Los Angeles Rams on December 6, the quarterback responded with his best performance in his brief time with the organization. Coach Sean McVay.
McVay responded, “I believe probably better. “You guys are aware that I have always been a supporter of his, and I believe he has performed admirably. And you must consider what he accomplished in order to arrive here, play with many other players who are new and be able to take the initiative now.
Just a remarkable effort. He has performed well.”
The Rams were headed by Mayfield on Sunday afternoon.
WR Courtland Sutton and OLB Randy Gregory are two Broncos who will play against the Rams in Week 16.
One of the Broncos’ best defensive players will play against the Rams on Christmas Day. Randy Gregory, an outside linebacker, is available for Week 16’s game despite not exercising this week and being labeled as questionable.
Gregory played 23 defensive snaps in Week 15 after coming off the injured reserve.
Gregory exercised before the game while George Paton, the general manager, and head coach Nathaniel Hackett watched.
Courtland Sutton, a wide receiver who had difficulty in practice this week, will also be available for Denver.
Sutton has not played since suffering a hamstring injury in the first half of a Week 13 game in Baltimore.
