Authorities say 3 people were found shot dead inside a home in Andover.
According to officials in Essex County, three persons were discovered dead inside a house in Andover, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning.
The three people were discovered with gunshot wounds in the home on Porter Road, according to the prosecution, and although police said they were not looking for suspects, a death investigation has begun.
Just before 7 a.m., Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe and Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker conducted a quick press conference where they stated that although the investigation was still in its early stages, the incident was contained and there was no threat to the public.
Immediately following 3 a.m., Andover police received a 911 call and originally arrived to the residence.
